Hello, I hope someone can help with this. I was hoping to sign up for plex pass and try out the shiny new plex DVR on my Synology.
However, I seem to have created a problem for myself. Several months back before the death of Windows Media Center, I installed plex on my device to see what its potential was for us. After a brief trial it didn't really suit our needs and the program has laid fallow ever since with no clients loaded on any other computers. Fast-forwarding to now, I find out about the plex dvr and since WMC has died and I already own a HDHomerun EXTEND I jump right on the website. Tried to set up an account using the existing password/email on my server and wasn't allowed so figured "oh well" and created new email/password for online account. Now I can't get the server discoverable, which I assume is because I need both online and server to have same account?? if this is not correct, please correct me and I will pursue other ways of fixing my problem. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling on server to see if I could recreate account, but NG. I am running latest version 1.1.4.2757. Do I need to have matching logins and if so how do I achieve this?
