Just installed Plex on Synology (DS3615xs), it can see\play content but no cover art or channels

I have just installed Plex on my Synology (DS3615xs) and it see\plays the movie content but no cover art or metadata is displayed. I've looked at the plex folder permissions, but still no joy. VERY frustrating. Any help or direction, greatly appreciated!
I'm not sure if this is related but Plex won't display any channels either. Related?
