I have been running Plex for a few weeks now, I was evaluating the software in preparation to paying the lifetime sub.
The last few days I have had a message on my Synology DS216play saying there DRM 6.1-15047 was available, i started to download the update but when clicking the update button i was told that Plex was not compatible and that it would be disabled, so i backed out.
Today i ready on the forums that quite a few people have it working and all that you have to do is stop Plex before you click upgrade and it doesn't complain. Well i did that and all seemed well, I manually started Plex after the reboot, great i thought.
Just brought up the app on my Samsung Curved 55" 4k TV and I can navigate into Movies, TV etc, even get all the graphics for the specific show, trying to play a show after about 2 seconds a box appears saying
There seems to be a problem.
Unable to connect to the content server.
Also checking google people are mentioning plex version 1.4.x.x.x etc, checking my Synology the version is up to date but is only 1.3.3.3148-b38628e
I would appreciate some help or advice please
