I have a problem.
Whenever I try to play video with subtitles (SRT) i get the following message:
There was a problem playing this item.
The server is not powerful enough to convert video
This only happens on my TV (LG 43UF640V) and not in the browser. It also only happens when streaming from my Synology DS215j, when I stream from my laptop or PC, there is no problem (But i see in taskmanager that the transcoder active)
I already set the subtitles to only image formats, but that doesn't help. When I disable subtitles it works, but as soon as i re-enable them, I get the same message.
I am using the latest availlable version of plex for my device (Version 1.4.3.3433) on DSM 6.1-15047 Update 1
When I use the built in media browser of webOS (smartshare) it all works with the subtitles.
I hope someone has the solution.
