Ok, I am having a problem getting plex to recognize a networked drive. I have a Synology NAS that is storing the files and will be offloading the transcoding to my Win 7 PC where the PMS will be installed. I have the mapped network drive on windows setup as Y: drive and I can access the files through explorer. When I go into Plex and setup a new library, it lets me choose the Y: drive as the media folder. However, it does not detect the movies I have within the folder. I suspect it is some form of a permission issue, but do not know how to track it down. Any help is greatly appreciated.
