I was wondering what happens to playlists if I edit in any way whatsoever the albums and tracks contained in them. Such changes may include:
- Tag editing of a track or an album, whether through an external program like Mp3tag or even through Plex's own editing interface.
- Manipulating the tracks' files themselves and track-containing folders, through the operating system or NAS file manager, for example renaming or moving a file (that is, a track) or renaming or moving a folder (that is, an album).
Will the changed tracks in playlists continue to play?
Will the changes be reflected?
Is there any kind of synchronization mechanism to the playlists that makes sure any changes whatsoever I apply to the files and/or folders that were selected for a playlist, will be reflected and updated in the playlist?
