Hi All,
After setting up a synology DS409 running DSM 4.2 (last update it allowed) for a friend very easily and having another friend around while doing it he bought the next model up to do the same from a well known online flea market, the DS410.
Being a newer model with better hardware and twice the RAM I did not give it a thought that for some reason PMS would not be allowed on the newer model.
Is there any way I can fool the DS410 in to thinking it is a supported model to get PMS installed and running?
It is currently on the latest firmware (4.3), any way of manually installing it at the shell?
Any help would be appreciated
