I am using a Synology DS214play into a Roku 3 streaming player - wired. The problem I'm having is splitting apart an HBO mini-series "The Pacific". There are 10 files (parts). I have named the files "The Pacific Part 1" thru "The Pacific Part 10". I have then uploaded them to a separate folder called "The Pacific". This folder is under "a folder called "Movies".
The naming causes problems in matching to get the correct metadata (poster & movie info) for the files. I can fix that by selecting "Fix incorrect match" and doing a search on "The Pacific".
Here's where it gets weird. In the Plex Web app I find three entries in the folder "The Pacific". The first entry shows (info) that it contains 1 file, "The Pacific Part 1". The second entry shows that is contains 8 files, "The Pacific Part 2" thru "The Pacific Part 9". The third entry shows that it contains 1 file, "The Pacific Part 10".
I would like to split these files in the second entry containing 8 files into separate movies so they can be watched separately. The "Split" option is not seen when you click on the "..." drop down item as suggested in the Plex help file.
Id like to see 10 movie entries all with the same poster & movie info with the proper titles "The Pacific Part 1" thru "The Pacific Part 10".
What am I missing here?
