I recently got an 11 disc Chopin box set. I ripped them all successfully, all the tracks seem fine. When I refreshed my Music library on my Plex Media Server, it successfully found a match, but not all of the discs show up (only 7 out of 11).
After re-syncing a couple of times, they're still not showing. I briefly opened the Media Scanner log file and I see it immediately start looking in that directory. It goes over the files, then says:
Jan 01, 2017 19:59:16.851 [0xb3f5bb00] DEBUG - Directory had 154 files, database had 79 files, can't skip.
This correctly identifies the songs that I'm missing (154 total tracks, 75 missing)
The lines that follow iterate the already-showing-up tracks, for example:
Jan 01, 2017 20:05:18.340 [0xb3f5bb00] DEBUG - * Scanning Frédéric Chopin / The Chopin Collection Jan 01, 2017 20:05:18.341 [0xb3f5bb00] DEBUG - Looking for path match for [/volume1/files/Music/Frédéric Chopin; Arthur Rubinstein/The Chopin Collection/2-01 Nocturne No. 11 in G minor, Op. 37 No. 1.m4a] Jan 01, 2017 20:05:18.461 [0xb3f5bb00] DEBUG - Path matched, we're reusing media item 23975
But there is nothing about the files that were not matched.
Is there some other information I can look for in the logs? I tried moving the tracks out to another directory, re-syncing, and bringing them back in, but they still were not detected. I've not seen this happen before, Plex hasn't had a problem with the other ~8k songs I've imported.
Thanks!
