Remote connection difficulties

Hi Plex team,
I am unable to connect to my Plex server (hosted in UK on Synology NAS) from Germany & Russia (there may be other countries).
If I connect through Plex.tv, it connects with an indirect connection. If i try to connect with the iOS app, it just says connecting and it won't ever connect.

Just to confirm, I can connect fine from within the UK and some other countries (e.g. India and Italy). It only seems to be Germany and Russia I cannot connect from. I can however connect to my Synology interface though and other apps running on Synology, it just seems like Plex which is being blocked.

I have looked in the Plex Media Server.log and I can see that I am reaching the Plex server and my user account gets a token / authenticated.

There is nothing else on my LAN using port 32400.
I have a rule on my WAN to allow any traffic to port 32400.
"List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth" under settings is empty. I did try putting in the Germany IP I was connecting from but it made no difference.
I also tried adding disableRemoteSecurity="1" to Preferences.xml in Plex but this also made no difference, I have removed it again.

I can attach the logs if you want me to, I am just concerned there may be some "private info" in there which other people could use to try and gain access (although I'm sure no one on this forum would do that but I am just extra cautious about things like this). Would I be able to email you the logs if requested? First time poster here so not sure how this support works...

Any ideas why I cannot connect from certain countries?

Thanks!!

Jake
